Plant specifications

Greenfield minimill with two sets of two-crucible induction furnaces, a single-strand continuous casting machine, a 4 m pusher-type reheating furnace, a three-high roughing stand and a 12-stand rolling mill with two flying crop shears. Mill speed control uses a cascade function; the line ends with a cut-to-length dividing shear, braking plate and a 40 m cooling bed rake.

Scope of work

Manufacturing, software development and commissioning of the complete electrical and automation system, including supply of medium-voltage switchgear and distribution transformers. LVDPs, MCCs, DC motor drives, PLCs and main control desks were manufactured, and Adeptek supervised commissioning.
