Plant specifications

The plant had been out of service for five to six years and most of its main equipment was damaged or missing: LVDP main busbars had been removed, transformer cables were lost and the automation cabinets were obsolete. The customer contracted a new 90 t EAF; the alloy addition plant, ladle furnace, 6-strand continuous casting machine, dedusting plant and rolling mill electrical and automation systems were revamped.

Scope of work

Manufacturing, software development and commissioning of the complete electrical and automation system panels: LVDPs, MCCs, DC motor drives, PLCs, main control desks, SCADA and PLC implementation, with Adeptek supervising commissioning.
